James T. Murphy

James T. Murphy

Jim was a graduate of the former Saint William’s Grammar School and a proud member of the St. William’s Band, where he and his bandmates celebrated many championships. He then attended Burdett Business School and earned his degree in Funeral Service from The New England Institute in Kenmore Square. He and his wife, MaryAnne (Griffin,) raised their six children in their much-loved Dorchester and are proud grandparents to fourteen grandchildren. Jim and MaryAnne were active in St. Margaret’s Parish, volunteering to help organize many events and fundraisers over the years, as their children participated in the many C.Y.O. activities that were offered.  The parish was and still remains a central part of their lives.
